The National Testing Agency has released a fresh press release on December 4, 2026, for the CUET 2026 UG Examination. In the NTA public notice CUET 2026, it has been mentioned that to streamline the process for CUET (UG)-2026, all eligible aspirants are advised to have of the Aadhaar Card/ Disability Certificate/ UDID Card / Category Certificate (EWS/SC /ST/OBC-NCL) before filling the online application form for the Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)]-2026.

In the simple languages, the NTA asked all the CUET Aspirants to update their Aadhaar Card/disability Certificate/ UDID Card/ Category Certificate as soon as possible, if there is any update.

It also added that “The National Testing Agency will be conducting the Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)]-2026 in the month of May 2026, and the application process for the same is likely to start in the month of February 2026. The online application form for CUET (UG)-2026 will be made available on the NTA website https://cuet.nta.nic.in/.

CUET 2026: What are the documents required to update

To facilitate the CUET (UG)-2026 application process, all eligible aspirants are recommended to ensure that the following documents are updated well in advance/before submitting for the CUET (UG)-2026, in order to avoid any discrepancies, grievances, or rejection later on:-

Aadhaar Card: Update Aadhaar Card with correct name, date of birth (as per class 10th certificate), latest photograph, address, and father’s name.
UDID Card (for People with Disabilities): The UDID Card/Disability Certificate should be valid, updated, and renewed as needed.
Category Certificate: The category certificate (EWS/SC/ST /OBC-NCL) must be current and valid.
