How can I calculate NEET 2025 scores using answer keys?

The optimum use of a provisional answer key is to calculate a problem score before to the announcement of results. The technique for calculating the NEET 2025 scores is shown below.

  1. Count all the right answer attempts and multiply them by four.
  2. Count all wrong answer attempts.
  3. Subtract the total number of incorrect answer attempts from the total marks earned through correct answer attempts.
  4. Total marks in NEET = (total number of correct answers * 4) – Total number of wrong responses.

What is NEET 2025 Marking Scheme, If Challenges Are Valid

If the NTA’s expert committee considers any of the challenges or objections valid after reviewing them, all candidates will receive marks. Candidates will not be told whether their challenge was granted or refused. If any abnormality or inconsistency is discovered following the key verification challenges procedure, the NTA will address it in the following manner:

(i) Correct response or the best relevant answer: Four markings (+4)
(ii) Any wrongly assigned choice will be deducted one mark (-1).
(iii) Unanswered: no mark (0).
(iv) If more than one option is proven to be right, only those who marked any of the correct alternatives will receive four (+4) marks.
(v) If all options are accurate, all individuals who attempted the question will receive four marks (+4).
(vi) If none of the options are found accurate, a question is discovered to be incorrect, or a question is abandoned, all candidates who appeared will be given four points (+4) regardless of whether the question was attempted or not by the candidate.
(vii) Candidates are recommended to perform the calculations using the constants specified (if any) in the question
