International Mathematics Olympiad Syllabus: Overview

The prestigious SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) challenges students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in different areas of mathematics and its applications. The examination format includes MCQs and problem-solving exercises to evaluate comprehension of mathematical skills. The material taught in IMO levels 1 and 2 includes a wide range of subjects.

Participants need to utilize theoretical understanding to address real-life issues and engage in analytical thinking when tackling complicated problems. From 1st to 4th grade, there are 35 questions adding up to 40 marks, whereas from 5th to 12th grade, there are 50 questions totaling 60 marks.

SFO IMO Syllabus 2024-25 Class 1

The IMO Class 1 Syllabus is split into 4 sections. Every part includes the subjects listed according to SOF. Based on official olympiad syllabus for class 1 pdf downloaded file.

The IMO Class 2 Syllabus is split into 4 sections, just like class 1 syllabus. Every division addresses the subjects listed according to SOF.
