The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the GPAT 2024 application form. The NTA will begin the GPAT 2024 registration process shortly. It is expected that the GPAT 2024 registration dates will fall in the month of February 2024. GPAT 2024

The GPAT 2024 exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency at the national-level. The GPAT 2024 exam is expected to be held in May 2024. The GPAT exam is conducted once every year across the country. The purpose of the exam is to grant admission to M. Pharma programs. All AICTE institutes, the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), and associated colleges and institutions accept the GPAT scores. To take part in the exam, students must complete the application form online.

What is GPAT Exam?

GPAT or Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test is a national-level exam conducted once every year for admission into the postgraduate pharmacy programs across different pharmacy institutions in India. Around 800 participating institutes and universities accredited by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) accept GPAT scores. AICTE administered the test till 2017. Last year, some 62,275 applicants sat the admission exam. It is expected that around 65,000 students will take the exam this year.

GPAT 2024 Registration Last Date

After the release of the GPAT 2024 application form, candidates will be allowed to register for the GPAT exam only up to the certain time period. It is expected that the GPAT 2024 registration last date will fall in March 2024. As per the last year’s trends, the GPAT 2024 registration will end in the 1st week of March 2024. In other words, the GPAT 2024 application form will remain available from the 2nd week of February to the 1st week of March 2024 (tentative).

GPAT 2024 Exam Date

The NTA will conduct the GPAT 2024 exam in the month of May (tentative). It is expected that the GPAT 2024 exam will take place in the second week of May 2024. The GPAT 2024 exam will take place in online mode, i.e., a computer-based test (CBT). The examination will be held in two shifts (morning and evening) across various exam centers in the country. The GPAT 2024 exam is likely to be held on a single day.

GPAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to take the GPAT 2024 must satisfy its eligibility criteria. Students not possessing the required eligibility criteria cannot apply for the GPAT 2024 exam. • Age Limit: There will be no age limit for candidates appearing in GPAT 2024.
• Nationality: To be eligible for exam, applicants must be Indian citizens.
• Qualification: Candidates must be graduated in Pharmacy or equivalent from any recognized university/ institute.
• Appearing: Those candidates appearing in final year in 2024 will also be eligible to apply for exam.

GPAT 2024 Exam Pattern

Candidates who are going to take the GPAT 2024 exam must know about its exam pattern in advance. The exam pattern of the GPAT 2024 exam is given hereunder.

• Exam Mode: The exam will be conducted through online mode.
• Exam Duration: 3 hours will be allotted to candidates to solve the paper.
• Number of Questions: There will be total 125 questions in the exam.
• Maximum Marks: 500
• Medium: The paper will be in English language only.
• Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for correct answer. For incorrect response 1 mark will be deducted.
