Delhi University Admission to undergraduate programmes in 2023 will be based on passing the NTA-conducted CUET exam. To apply for DU admission 2023 at any of the more than 90 DU-affiliated or constituent colleges, applicants must first register for the CUET test before registering for admission through the DU Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) site.

DU VC Yogesh Singh stated during the CSAS admission portal launch that there are 78 undergraduate programmes at DU’s 68 colleges, with 71,000 seats, and 77 postgraduate programmes, with 13,500 seats. Furthermore, there are 198 BA programme combinations. he also added that it provided 1,553 subject combinations for UG admission and that the College of Arts will be included in CSAS seat distribution this year. Most applications were received for BCom Hons in CUET 2023 in undergraduate courses.

DU CSAS 2023 B.Tech Admission

This year, Delhi University will offer three BTech programmes based on students’ JEE Main score, CSAS DU BTech registration will begin in the last week of June. Students will be admitted. CSAS DU Admission 2023 Application fees

  • Candidates who have earned at least 40% overall in their intermediate examination from an Indian university or board as well as “Prabhakar in Hindi” are qualified for admission.
B.A. (Hons.) Economics
  • an overall score of 45% on the qualifying exam.
  • One language and the top three academic or optional subjects will be used to evaluate merit.
  • For admission to the B.A. (Honors) in Economics programme, applicants must have taken and passed the qualifying exam in mathematics.

  • Any subject other than those on Lists A and B that is included in the best three-subject combination will result in a 2.5% deduction from the total of the best four subjects.
B.Com
  • a minimum overall score of 40% on the qualifying exam.
  • According to the following, selection will be based on qualifying examination scores in one language and the top three subjects:
  • A combined grade of at least 40% in English/Hindi and the top three grades in each of the following subjects: mathematics, accounting, economics, business studies, and commerce.
  • If any subject from List B other than those already listed is included in the group of the best three, the total will be reduced by 1% for each additional subject.

DU Eligibility Criteria : Faculty of Mathematical sciences

Mathematics plus one language and two academic subjects from those streams will result in a 2% disadvantage for students from other streams (who take Mathematics in Class XII).

B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics / Statistics 50% in math and a total of 45% on the qualifying exam are the requirements.

DU Admissions 2023: Important points to know

  • The University of Delhi will make the DU CSAS 2023 application form available by May 20.
  • The Delhi University admissions office will hold three sessions of counseling for DU college admission.
  • 50% of the available PG seats are filled through the DUET, while the remaining 50% are filled through the UG course completion scores and grades of currently enrolled Delhi University students.
  • If applicants achieve a particular percentage on the qualifying exam, several DU colleges will reduce the cutoff mark by up to 3%. For instance, candidates who scored 60% or higher on the math portion of the qualifying exam are awarded a 3% cutoff mark relaxation.
  • With 32,000 seats available, admissions through DU NCWEB 2023 will be available.
  • All students who intend to apply for admission to Delhi University colleges will have a chance to do so.
  • Those with higher CUET scores may have a better chance of being admitted to DU in 2023.
  • The Class 12th marks will be used for DU admission if two students receive equal scores on the CUET DU admission test.

DU Admission 2023 : Seats and Admission Channels

For admission to Delhi University and its affiliated colleges, there is only one entrance-based route available (known as the Common University Entrance Test, or CUET). The CUET entrance test will be used in 2023 to provide courses at Delhi University, and the DU merit list will be created using the results of the CUET.
