CBSE Practical Exam Guidelines 2024 Out: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) plans to hold the CBSE 10th and 12th practical exams 2024 from January 1 to February 14, 2024. The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued some CBSE Practical Exam Guidelines 2024 and SOPs that must be followed for practical tests to go smoothly. Candidates can get the CBSE Practical Exam Guidelines and SOPs at cbse.gov.in.

CBSE Practical Exam Guidelines 2024

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the upcoming CBSE Classes 10 and 12 practical board examination 2024 on its official website. While conducting practical tests and internal assessments, the board has ordered that the CBSE practical exam rules and SOPs be followed. Failure to obey the orders will result in the termination of practical tests. Students are encouraged to stay in touch with their respective institutions for more information and updates on the practical assessments.

CBSE Practical Exam 2024 Guidelines-Notice

The official notification on the CBSE Practical Exam Guidelines 2024 for Classes 10 & 12 is now available on the CBSE official website, cbse.gov.in. According to the official notification, “To bring in uniformity of instructions and to ensure the correctness of procedures Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the conduct of practical examinations/ project/ internal assessment of both the classes have been prepared by the Board.” Candidates who are going to take the exam should read the complete  CBSE Practical Exam Guidelines 2024 below.

CBSE Practical Exam Guidelines and SOPs

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) plans to hold the CBSE 10th and 12th practical exams 2024 from January 1 to February 14, 2024. The body will cancel the board practical exams in 2024 only if any of the school officials fail to observe the CBSE’s norms and regulations.   • The Board is in charge of appointing external examiners to conduct practical exams and appraising projects. The Integrated Payment System will be used to process remuneration for assigned duties.
  • All practical examination marks must be uploaded simultaneously, starting from the exam dates,
    and finalized by the respective class’s deadline. Schools, internal examiners, and external examination bodies must ensure accurate mark uploads as no amendments will be permitted once the marks are submitted.
  • For Class 10, the Board will not provide practical answer books; schools are responsible for arranging them independently. After exams, there is no requirement to send students’ practical answer books to the regional office.
  • No external examiner will be appointed for class 10
  • The Board will appoint External examiners in each school to conduct practical exams and assess projects in specific subjects.
  • The school shall ensure the presence of external examinations and observers on all days of the conduct of practical exams/project assessments strictly as per the provision of appointment of an external examiner by the board.
  • Payments for all personnel involved in these duties will be processed via the Integrated Payment System unless specified otherwise.
  • The marks for Practical Examinations, Projects, and Internal Assessments for private students will be awarded according to the Board’s policy as per Examination Bye-laws. If re-conduction is required, it will also follow the Board’s policy.
  • For regular students sponsored through the list of candidates of Classes X and XII, Practical Examinations, Projects, and Internal Assessments will be conducted based on the eligibility/bonafide status of the student(s). In case any student’s name is missing from the subject list, schools should promptly contact the regional office.
  • The board may appoint observers in the schools to oversee the conduct of Practical Exams and Project Assessments and ensure fair conduct of exams/assessments and ensure fair conduct of exam/assessment. The schools shall get in touch with the concerned regional office to obtain the list of observers.
  • In the event of schools failing to adhere to the Board’s directives, the Board reserves the right to cancel the practical examination.

 

CBSE Practical Exam 2024 Dates

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the dates for the CBSE 10th, 12th practical, and Theory exams for the academic year 2023-24. The practical tests for Class 12 and 10 for winter-bound schools are scheduled for November 14 to December 14, 2023. Other regional schools’ CBSE practical exams, on the other hand, will resume on January 1, 2023.

Meanwhile, according to the official CBSE date sheet 2024, the CBSE Class 10 board exam 2024 will be held from February 15 to March 13, 2024, while the CBSE Class 12 board exam 2024 will be held from February 15 to April 2, 2024.
