CBSE Deleted Syllabus For Class 12 Psychology: Psychology is an optional subject of Class 11 as well as Class 12. Whether a student is from any stream, a Psychology subject can be taken as optional and it is equally important. Psychology is a theoretical based subject. CBSE Deleted Syllabus For Class 12 Psychology

Due to the Covid-19 situation, no proper school functioning is taking place. There is a increasing stress on student’s shoulders and it is very difficult to cover entire syllabus in online classes. So CBSE has decided to reduce the syllabus by 30% of all classes.CBSE has considered reducing the syllabus for each class by 30%. For this academic year, the reduced syllabus will be used for preparing question for board examinations.

FAQ’S for Class 12 Psychology

1.      How many chapters are there in psychology class 12th?

There are a total of 9 chapters in psychology for class 12th, out of 2 chapters have been deleted entirely from the syllabus. Currently, there are 7 chapters in total.

2.      Is Class 12 psychology easy?

As most of the paper will be based on the NCERT syllabus, students feel that psychology is easy. If you are preparing for your Boards, be thorough with your NCERT syllabus and you should be easily able to score above 80.

3.      How do I study for psychology class 12?

Prepare notes for each chapter and revise your concepts regularly to get a better hold for each topic in psychology. It is the easiest subject as not much  questions are based out of NCERT. You should be good to go by revising the textbook at least 2 times before the Board Exams.

4.      Is Psychology a scoring subject?

Yes, psychology is mostly considered for optional in the civil service exams as it is the easiest and scoring subjects among all the other subjects. It is easier to remember the concepts and takes less time to go through each of the topic.

5.      Is Psychology a good career?

Yes, psychology is a good career choice in India. You can pursue a career in the field. There are a lot of opportunities for students who have graduated in Psychology as majors.
