5 Common Mistakes To Avoid For JEE

Not Making Short Notes for Last-Minute Study

Many students continue to explore other sources in order to gather more information but often neglect to take their own brief notes on what they have read. They cover virtually the entire curriculum with this but retain very little because they lack the short notes that could help in revision. The students preparing for JEE Main are advised to make notes in an attractive way, to make notes attractive the students can write down key ideas in bullet points or, if possible, use flow charts or tables. This will help them with last-minute revision and remembering information for extended periods of time. Short notes should be written in such a way that key elements are written down completely, with certain shortcuts included, so that when the person reads them again, they already know the long informative concept hidden behind a short line.

Avoiding NCERTs

For applicants studying for the JEE Exam, NCERT is the bible. JEE aspirants must solve NCERTs of all the subjects thoroughly.  It is the most relevant and up-to-date guide for exam preparation. There’s a chance you’ll come across problems that are based on or similar to NCERT answered examples and previous exercises.NCERTs are very useful, sometimes in physics papers, questions are framed directly from the NCERT books. Hence, students must ignore the NCERTs, they should read all the subjects NCERTs thoroughly followed by multiple revisions.

Not Taking Enough Breaks

Students’ concentration and passion might sometimes be so intense that they wind up drowning in JEE Main 2022 books for hours, forgetting that their eyes and minds need a break. It is a truth that if a student studies for more than 2 hours in a row, he or she will not understand the concepts as well as have the same level of learning ability. A student who studies for an hour and then takes a 15-30 minute break, on the other hand, is better able to learn and concentrate. As a result, this is another blunder students commit while studying for JEE Main 2022. It should be part of the structured study plan to determine how much time is spent relaxing and doing activities that do not put the learner under too much mental or visual strain.

Avoiding Self Assessment

There are students who are completely involved in learning new concepts on a regular basis, and although the race to learn more and more continues, they fail to enter the self-analysis phase. If students are unaware of what they already know, they will be unable to choose which study subject requires their attention in order to achieve a better JEE Main score in 2022. As a result, this is another aspect of JEE Main exam preparation that candidates sometimes overlook. To get rid of it, students must solve the mock tests as much as they can. The mock test will give aspirants an idea of where they are lacking in their preparation. Self-assessment is a must in  JEE Main preparation otherwise students will be in the bubble of knowing everything.

Not asking doubts

Not asking doubt is a big blunder in JEE Main preparation, the aspirants must understand the concept fully if they have doubt in any of the topics they must ask doubts to their respective subject teacher. If aspirants are preparing themselves then they can clear their doubts with the help of google and youtube. Some students are shy and under-confident to ask doubts but they forget that it is their loss if they are not asking doubts in the class. Some students avoid the analysis of mock tests and procrastinate while analyzing the questions they didn’t attempt. In JEE Main preparation there is no room for procrastination, hence students ask doubts and analyze their mock tests timely.
