The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has released a total of 150 vacancies for the post of Veterinary Inspector. Candidates can check the category-wise vacancy distribution below.

PSSSB Veterinary Inspector Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must fulfill the required educational qualifications and age criteria.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

• 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
• Two-year Diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Health Technology or equivalent from a recognized institution

Candidates must have passed Punjabi at Matric level or equivalent.

Selected candidates will get salary under:

• Pay Level-5
• ₹29,200 to ₹92,300

The selection process includes:

Written Examination

The exam will be held in two parts:

• Part A: Punjabi Language (Matric Level) – Qualifying Nature
• Minimum 50% marks required
• Part B: Merit Based Objective Exam

Negative Marking

• Each question carries 1 mark
• 0.25 marks deducted for every wrong answer

After written exam, shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification.
