More than 1,08,20,000 candidates have registered for the Railway Group D Exam 2025, making it one of the biggest railway recruitment exams of the year. The RRB Group D exam is scheduled to take place from November 2025 to 16th January 2026, with three shifts conducted daily. RRB Group D New Exam Date 2025 Out
With the revised exam schedule released, this is the right time for candidates to refine their preparation strategy to improve their chances of qualifying. Due to the extremely high number of applicants, the CBT has been planned across an extended timeline.
The RRB Group D Exam will take place over 32 days on the following dates: 27 and 28 November; 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th,5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 19th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 26th, 29th, and 30th December 2025; along with 8th, 9th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th January 2026.
The recruitment procedure consists of four phases: Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and Medical Examination. Candidates must clear the CBT to move forward to the next stages. The official exam date notice is provided below for reference.

RRB Group D Exam Shift Timing 2025
To efficiently handle the massive candidate turnout, the RRB Group D Exam will be conducted in three shifts every day. The reporting and exam timings for all shifts are listed below.

RRB Group D Exam Pattern 2025
The RRB Group D CBT will include 100 multiple-choice questions to be answered within 90 minutes. PwBD candidates using a scribe will receive 120 minutes. A penalty of one-third marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
