WBCS Main Examination Syllabus
- The Main Exam includes a Written Examination (8 papers) and a Personality Test.
- 6 compulsory subject papers and 1 optional subject containing 2 papers.
- The Optional papers are written examination type and the compulsory papers are objective type MCQ based.
- Papers I–VI (compulsory) and VII–VIII (optional) are evaluated for final merit.
