SSC GD Exam 2026 Cancelled at Various Centres, Check Rescheduled Dates

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued an important notice regarding the cancellation of the SSC GD Constable Exam 2026. The Commission has cancelled the exam at 5 districts in Uttar Pradesh due to technical glitches, overcrowding, server failures, and administrative issues.

The affected cities are Prayagraj, Kanpur, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, and Muzaffarpur. At some major centres, candidates protested against the mismanagement and overbooking beyond seating capacity.

SSC GD 2026 Exam Cancelled

SSC cancelled multiple shifts of the CBT conducted on 25th May 2026. In Muzaffarpur, Bihar, the 2nd and 3rd shifts were cancelled at Aadarsh Pariksha Kendra due to technical reasons. SSC has assured candidates that fresh exam dates and admit cards will be issued shortly.

Similarly, several centres in Uttar Pradesh witnessed chaos because of server issues and overcrowding. Reports stated that candidates faced long waiting hours and many could not appear for the examination despite reaching the centres on time.

Will SSC GD 2026 Re-Exam Be Conducted?

Yes, SSC has informed that the cancelled examinations will be rescheduled from 27th May 2026 onwards. Fresh admit cards for affected candidates will be uploaded on the official SSC website soon. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official portal for revised exam schedule, city intimation slip, and admit card updates.
