SSC CGL Result 2025 Out, Tier 1 Merit List and Post-wise Cut Off Marks

The Staff Selection Commission clarified that the SSC CGL Result 2025 for Tier-I remains unchanged after reviewing candidate representations. No names have been added to or removed from the shortlisted lists (List-I, II, or III). The total number of candidates shortlisted for Tier-II is 1,31,027, including 29 withheld candidates. Additionally, marks of candidates whose exams were rescheduled to 14 October 2025 were re-normalised as per expert committee recommendations. The Tier 2 exam is scheduled on 18 and 19 January 2026.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam 2025 was held from 12 to 26 September 2025, followed by a re-examination on 14 October 2025. Out of nearly 2.8 million applicants, 1,39,395 candidates have been shortlisted. The scorecard and final answer key for candidates who appeared in the exam will be released in the coming weeks on the official website, www.ssc.gov.in.

• This year, around 28.15 lakh candidates applied for the SSC CGL examination.
• Out of 28+ Lakh applicants, only about 13 lakh candidates actually appeared for the Tier 1 exam.
