The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has activated the RRB Group D Apply Online 2026 link on its official website, www.rrbapply.gov.in. Candidates who have passed Class 10 from a recognised board are eligible to apply for Group D Level 1 posts. The online application process began on 31 January 2026, and the last date to submit the application is 2 March 2026 (11:59 PM). RRB Group D Apply Online 2026 Opened

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has invited online applications for 22,195 Group D Level 1 vacancies through its official website, www.rrbapply.gov.in. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, including the required medical standards, can apply for RRB Group D Level 1 posts such as Track Maintainer, Pointsman, and Assistant. Only applicants who successfully complete the application process will be eligible to appear for the Computer-Based Test.

How to Apply for RRB Group D 2026 Online?

Follow these simple steps to fill out and submit the Group D online form:

1. Go to rrbapply.gov.in ⇒ 2. Register First ⇒ 3. Login Again ⇒ 4. Fill Out the Online Form ⇒  5. Upload Documents ⇒ 6. Pay the Fee ⇒7. Submit the form.

Let’s understand each step one by one:

Step 1: Online Registration

• Go to the official RRB application portal: rrbapply.gov.in
• Create an Account.
• Click on the notification titled “CEN-09/2025 – Group D (Level-1)”.
• Enter basic information such as candidate name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID
• Submit the registration form and get your Registration Number and Password received via SMS/Email

Step 2: Complete the Application Form

• Log in using your registration credentials
• Choose your Zone.
• Carefully fill in personal details, educational qualifications, and communication address
• Select exam-related preferences as required

The application fee can be paid via UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking. Eligible candidates will receive a fee refund after appearing in the CBT, in accordance with RRB norms.

Fee Refund Policy:
• Rs 400 will be refunded to General/Others candidates after appearing in the CBT.
• SC/ST/Female/EBC candidates will receive a full refund of ₹250 after appearing in the CBT.

• Recheck all details entered in the application form
• Submit the form online
• Download and keep a copy of the submitted application for future reference

Who is Eligible for RRB Group D Online form 2026?

Check the following conditions if you are eligible to apply or not:

Age Limit (As on 1 January 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 33 years

Educational Qualification

• Class 10 (Matriculation) Passed
• ITI certificate holder from institutions recognised by NCVT/SCVT, or
• Hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT

Medical Standards

• Candidates must fulfil the medical fitness standards prescribed for Group D posts
• The final appointment is subject to a medical examination conducted by the Railway authorities.
