Revised Eligibility Criteria for BTSC Staff Nurse

As per the latest notification issued following court orders and amendments to Bihar Nursing Cadre Rules, the eligibility criteria have been revised.

• Candidates must have completed GNM from a recognised institute approved by the Indian Nursing Council
• Candidates with a B.Sc. Nursing are also eligible
• Registration with any State Nursing Council is mandatory at the time of application
• Selected candidates must register with the Bihar Nurses Registration Council (BNRC), Patna before joining
• All qualification-related documents must be issued on or before 23 May 2025

BTSC Staff Nurse Documents Required for DV

Candidates must carry original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies during document verification.

Mandatory Documents

• Matriculation Certificate (for age proof)
• Residential Certificate
• Valid Photo Identity Proof
• GNM/B.Sc Nursing Certificate (Final/Provisional)
• Marksheets of all years/semesters
• Registration Certificate from State Nursing Council

Reservation & Category Documents

• Caste Certificate (SC/ST)
• Creamy Layer Certificate (BC/EBC)
• EWS Certificate
• Disability Certificate (if applicable)

Experience Documents (If Claimed)

• Experience Certificate in prescribed format (Annexure-I)
• Issued by authorised officials such as the Civil Surgeon/Superintendent
• Supporting documents like engagement order/notification

Note: Experience certificates not issued in the prescribed format or by unauthorised authorities will not be considered.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates must follow all instructions carefully to avoid disqualification in the BTSC Staff Nurse DV Process:

• Carry original documents and two photocopy sets
• Bring the CBT Admit Card, Scorecard, and Application Form copy
• Carry at least 5 passport-size photographs (same as uploaded)
