BHU Nursing Officer Recruitment 2026 Notification To Be Announced Soon

The Banaras Hindu University is preparing to release the BHU Nursing Officer Recruitment 2026 Notification as part of a large-scale recruitment drive at Sir Sundarlal Hospital and Trauma Center. The university administration is expected to issue the recruitment advertisement within the next 10 days to fill 530 long-pending non-teaching posts. This recruitment aims to strengthen hospital operations and improve the overall quality of healthcare services.

300 Nursing Officer Posts to Be Filled Under 530 Vacancies

Out of the total 530 vacancies, the recruitment will include 300 Nursing Officer posts, along with 30 Medical Officers and 200 Lab Assistants. The appointment of a large number of Nursing Officers will significantly improve patient care, as they will be responsible for administering medicines, giving injections, dressing wounds, and monitoring vital signs. With more nursing staff available, patient monitoring and emergency response in BHU Hospital will become more efficient.

Hospital Services to Improve After Recruitment and Promotions

Along with this recruitment drive, BHU is also completing the promotion process for its teaching staff, with 218 teachers expected to be promoted by March. Once both the promotions and new appointments are completed, vacancies across medical, paramedical, and academic departments will be filled. This will lead to better doctor availability, faster OPD and emergency services, and improved diagnostic and treatment facilities at BHU Hospital.
