To calculate marks in the SBI PO Mains Exam, add up the marks for all correct answers in the objective test and subtract 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Then, include the marks obtained in the descriptive test (50 marks). The total of both sections gives the final Mains score, which decides eligibility for the interview round.

How is SBI PO Final Scorecard prepared?

The SBI PO Final Scorecard is prepared based on a candidate’s performance in the Mains exam and the Interview round. The marks obtained in the Prelims exam are only qualifying in nature and are not included in the final merit calculation. So, Mains and Interview are merit-making stages. The final scorecard is calculated by:

SBI PO Mains Exam: The objective and descriptive tests are evaluated, and the scores are normalised to 75 marks.

Interview Round: The interview is conducted for 25 marks.

Final Score: The scores are in the ratio 75:25 out of 100 marks.
