AIIMS CRE Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection process for AIIMS CRE 2025 consists of multiple stages to ensure fair and comprehensive assessment of candidates applying for Group B and Group C non-faculty posts. It includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT) as the primary stage, followed by a Skill Test (if applicable) for certain posts, and finally, document verification and institute allocation. Each stage is essential in filtering candidates based on merit, eligibility, and suitability for the respective posts and institutions.
Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
The first stage is the CBT, which is mandatory for all candidates. It evaluates both domain-specific knowledge and general aptitude. The merit list will be prepared based solely on CBT scores. Qualifying marks vary by category (UR, OBC, SC, ST, PWBD, etc.), and normalization will be applied if the exam is held in multiple shifts. Only those who qualify in the CBT will be considered for the next stages.
Stage 2: Skill Test (If Applicable)
The Skill Test is applicable only to select posts as specified in the recruitment rules. It is a qualifying test, meaning it does not impact the final merit score but must be cleared for eligibility in posts that require it. Candidates who qualify the CBT but fail the Skill Test will only be considered for posts that do not require it. AIIMS also reserves the right to limit the number of candidates called for this stage based on post availability and CBT performance.
Stage 3: Document Verification
Candidates who are provisionally selected based on merit will be called for document verification. They must present original and valid documents including educational certificates, category proof, age proof, experience (if any), and other applicable credentials. Failure to provide any required document will result in cancellation of candidature and loss of the allocated post.
Stage 4: Institute Allocation
After document verification, candidates will be asked to submit their preferences for participating AIIMS or central healthcare institutions. Allocation will be done based on:
- Final merit rank
- Eligibility for the respective institute
- Preferences submitted by the candidate
Candidates are advised to fill preferences carefully and only for those institutions where they meet all eligibility criteria. Failure to join the allotted institute within the prescribed time may lead to cancellation of candidature.
AIIMS CRE Exam Pattern
