NMDC Steel Executive Trainee Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through a multi-stage process that includes a written exam, group discussion, and interview. Marks from all three stages are combined to prepare the final merit list. The selection process is explained in points below for NMDC Steel Executive Trainee.
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of multiple-choice questions in Hindi and English.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 40 for SC/ST/PwBD, 45 for OBC-NCL, and 50 for UR/EWS.
- Shortlisted candidates were called for Group Discussion & Interview in a ratio of 1:3.
- Final merit list weightage: CBT 70%, Group Discussion 15%, and Interview 15%.

NMDC Steel Executive Trainee Salary
Selected NMDC Steel Executive Trainees will first undergo a 6-month training period, during which they will receive a fixed stipend. After successful completion of training, they will be promoted to the post of Assistant Manager with a regular pay scale. The salary details are given below.
