The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the KEA Water Supply Operator Notification 2026 for Group C posts in the Urban Local Bodies of the Kalyana-Karnataka region. A total of 210 posts are available for Water Supply Operator, Assistant Water Supply Operator, Electrician Grade-1 and Electrician Grade-2. The notification was issued on 11 September 2026. KEA Education Qualification 2026

The KEA Water Supply Operator selection process will be based mainly on a competitive written examination. The selection stages are:

• Competitive Written Examination: Candidates have to appear for two papers.
• Paper 1 – General Knowledge: 100 questions for 100 marks, with a duration of 2 hours.
• Paper 2 – Post-Specific Subject: 100 questions for 100 marks, based on the Water Supply Operator trade/subject.
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
• Kannada Language Test: Candidates who do not meet the prescribed Kannada language exemption criteria have to qualify in the Kannada Language Test. This test is qualifying in nature.
• Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted based on merit must produce their original educational, category and other required documents.
