ISRO SDSC Sriharikota Range Selection Process 2025

The selection process involves Written Test, Interview, and Skill/Trade/Physical Tests depending on the post. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance and final merit after document verification. The process is as follows;

1. Written Test is applicable on all posts.
   Every applicant must first appear for a written examination, which serves as the initial shortlisting stage.

2. Interview (for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ & Scientific Assistant):

   • Candidates shortlisted from the written test (in 1:5 ratio) will be called for an interview.

   • Final selection will be based on weightage of 50% Written Test + 50% Interview marks.

3. Skill / Trade Test (for Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’, Driver, Cook, Fireman, etc.):

   • Those qualifying the written test will be called for a Skill, Trade, or Physical Efficiency Test, depending on the post.

   • This stage is qualifying in nature (candidates must meet the prescribed standards).

4. Final Selection:

   • Merit will be prepared based on performance in all applicable stages.

   • All shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification and medical examination before final appointment.

ISRO SHAR Salary Structure 2025

The ISRO SDSC SHAR salary structure is based on the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), offering competitive pay scales along with allowances such as DA, HRA, and TA. Candidates selected under different posts will receive salaries ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹1,77,500 per month, depending on their pay level and designation.
