ISRO SDSC Selection Process 2026

The selection process involves a Written Test, an Interview, and Skill/Trade/Physical Tests depending on the post. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance and final merit after document verification. The process is as follows;

Written Examination The written test applies to all posts and serves as the initial shortlisting stage.
Interview Applicable for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ and Scientific Assistant posts. Candidates are shortlisted from the written test in a 1:5 ratio. Final selection carries 50% weightage to the Written Test and 50% to the Interview.
Skill/Trade/Physical Efficiency Test Applicable to posts such as Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’, Driver, Cook, Fireman, etc. Candidates qualifying in the written test are called for the relevant Skill, Trade, or Physical Efficiency Test. This stage is qualifying in nature.
Document Verification & Medical Examination All shortlisted candidates undergo document verification and medical examination before final appointment.
Final Selection Merit is prepared based on performance in all applicable selection stages.

ISRO SHAR Salary Structure 2025-26

The ISRO SDSC SHAR salary structure is based on the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), offering competitive pay scales along with allowances such as DA, HRA, and TA.
