The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) will officially activate the online registration portal for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027 on 27 August 2026 (Today). Candidates can fill the application forms online through the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) at gate2027.iitm.ac.in. As per the new rule, registration through DigiLocker is mandatory for all candidates.

The GATE 2027 examination will be conducted over six days in February 2027 in both forenoon (9:30 AM–12:30 PM) and afternoon (2:30 PM–5:30 PM) sessions.
