Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a 3-year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) from a recognised institute or university.
- Higher qualifications like B.E./B.Tech. may also be considered valid, but the minimum requirement is a Diploma.
- Final-year diploma students are usually not eligible unless they can present proof of qualification at the time of document verification.

BTSC Junior Engineer 2026 Exam Pattern

- The computer-based exam will have 100 questions in total.
- It will include two sections: Domain Knowledge and General Studies.
- The exam will be available in both Hindi and English.
- There will be negative marking — 0.25 marks will be cut for each wrong answer.
