Private ITI candidates are not eligible. Only those who completed ITI through regular mode can apply.

Candidates who have already done any Apprenticeship training or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 cannot apply again.

Candidates with 1 year or more work experience at the time of applying are also not eligible.

SCVT ITI pass-outs and MES certificate holders are not eligible for this Apprenticeship training.

The application process for both Graduate/Diploma Apprentices and ITI Trade Apprentices follows a few important steps. Graduate and Diploma candidates must first register on the NATS portal. ITI candidates on the other hand have to apply through the NAPS portal which is the Apprenticeship India portal. How to apply for BHEL Bhopal Apprentices Recruitment 2025?
Step 1: NATS Registration (For Graduate & Diploma Candidates )
Graduate and Diploma candidates must first complete their registration on the NATS (nats.education.gov.in) portal. They need to create their profile and upload their Aadhaar, B.E./B.Tech/BBA/Diploma certificate and a recent photograph. After submitting all required documents they must note the NATS registration number.
Step 2: NAPS Registration (For ITI Candidates )
ITI candidates must register on the NAPS(www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) portal. They need to complete their profile by uploading the required documents and then note the NAPS registration number. After successful registration they must search and apply to Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Bhopal using the code E05-2023-03981.
Step 3
- After completing the NATS/NAPS registration all candidates must apply on the official BHEL Bhopal website and click on the Graduate/Diploma Apprenticeship 2025–26 or ITI Trade Apprenticeship 2025–26 section as per their category.
- The application form must be filled using the NATS or NAPS registration number along with marks or CGPA details.
- Once the form is submitted, candidates must download the acknowledgement slip. This slip is extremely important and is mandatory for the next stage. Without it, the application process remains incomplete.

BHEL BHOPAL Apprentice Selection Process
The selection process has three main steps:
1. Shortlisting on Merit
Candidates are shortlisted based on the marks of all semesters in the qualifying exam. If two candidates have the same marks, preference is given to the one who is older, and if still tied, the one with higher Class 10th marks.
2. Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates must appear for document verification, where all original certificates and supporting documents are checked.
3. Medical Fitness Certificate
After verification, candidates need to submit a medical fitness certificate from a registered doctor. This certificate is compulsory before joining.
