SSC JE Answer Key 2025 Marking Scheme
For the SSC JE Tier 1 Answer Key 2025, the marking scheme is as follows:
Tier 1 Exam has a total of 100 questions, with each correct answer carrying 1 mark.
For each wrong answer in the Tier 1 Exam, 0.25 marks are deducted as negative marking.
No marks are deducted for unattempted questions in the Tier 1 Exam.
How to calculate Exam Score using the SSC JE Answer Key 2025?
Calculating the expected SSC JE Paper 1 marks is very simple once the applicants have the answer key and their response sheet. Here’s a step-by-step way to do it:
| Step 1: Count all the correct answers
Check the answer key and search how many questions you got right in Reasoning, General Awareness, and the respective engineering stream. |
| Step 2: Count total positive marks
SSC gives 1 mark for every correct answer. So now calculate the total positive marks. Total Positive Marks = (No. of total correct answers × 1) |
| Step 3: Note down the incorrect answers
Now, see how many questions are answered incorrectly. Count the No. of incorrect answer. |
| Step 4: Count total negative marks
SSC deducts 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. So now calculate the total negative marks. Total Negative Marks = (No. of total wrong answers × 0.25) |
| Step 5: Calculate your total final score
The total final score will be the subtraction of total positive marks and total negative marks you get in the SSC JE exam. Total Score = (Correct Answers × 1) – (Wrong Answers × 0.25) |
| Step 5: Compare with the past year’s cut-off scores
Once you get your expected score, you can compare it with previous years’ SSC JE cut-offs to get a fair idea of your chances of clearing Tier-1. |
