Functions Of Cytoplasm & Nucleus

Cytoplasm:
 The cytoplasm includes all living parts of the cell with in the cell
membrane, excluding the nucleus.
 The cytoplasm is made up of the cytosol and cell organelles.
 The cytosol is a watery, jellylike medium made up of 70% – 90% water
and usually colourless.
Functions:
It protects the cell organs. The vortex flow in which the cell material moves
around the cell. The cytoplasm is rich in many salts and acts as an excellent
conductor of electricity.
Nucleus:
 Nucleus is an important unit of cell which control all activities of the
cell. Nucleus holds the hereditary information. It is the largest among all cell organelles
 It has a double membrane as inner and outer. The inner membrane is
smooth without ribosomes and the outer membrane is rough by the
presence of ribosomes
Functions of the nucleus:
 Controlling all the functions of the cell.
 Preservation of traditional or traditional messages.
 Containing the genetic message required for the formation of proteins and
tissues in DNA.
 Transmission of DNA Doubling and transcription events.
 Emergence of lysosomes in the nucleolus.
