West Bengal HS Result 2021 Out Now: Know more about the Procedure.

The West Bengal results for class 12 in 2021 were declared through a press conference. After the press conference was over the results were available on the official website of the West Bengal Education Board.

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has decided to announce the Class 12, or West Bengal HS (Uchya Madyamik) result, today, July 22, 2021 at 3 PM in the morning. In order to see the Class 12 WBCHSE results, schools have to use their index numbers and passwords and check the results by logging in through the websites – wbchse.nic.in and wbresults.nic.in.

The results for West Bengal Class 12 Board exams were declared on 22 July 2021 at 3 pm. The result was announced by the Uchchatar Madhyamik Council through a press conference. Students can now check their results by visiting the website of the West Bengal Secondary Education Board.

The West Bengal Government of Higher Secondary School has decided to declare the results of Uchyamadhyamik at 3 PM today. The West Bengal board results can also be checked online at official websites- wbchse.nic.in and wbresults.nic.in. Moreover, the Uchya Madhyamik results can also be checked through SMS from 4 pm onwards. The pupils are also eligible to download the Uchya Madhyamik, 2021 through an app available on the Google Play store.

The GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL had decided to cancel the 12 board examinations and declared that a committee would be prepared to give its decision on the marking scheme to students.

West Bengal government had also given its decision for the cancellation of all the assessments pertaining to the board results keeping in mind the safety of the students in this pandemic situation. However,they later formed and set up a committee that decided the pattern for assessing the examinations.

This year, the marking scheme has been decided on the following criteria:

  1. 50 per cent weightage will be given to class 10 board examination scores (average of three subjects with high marks).
  2. 20 per cent (written in each subject) weightage will be accorded to Plus One board exam .
  3. 30 per cent, will be awarded on the basis of their practical and internal exams held in Class 12.

 

Steps in order to download West Bengal (Uchya madhyamik) HS Result 2021:

Step 1:  Do visit the official websites: – wbchse.nic.in and wbresults.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the “Download button” option present there.

Step 3: Enter your specified registration number or the roll number.

Step 4: Their stipulated result will be displayed on their screen.
Step 5: Download it, and take a printout for further use of it.

 

In the previous year 2020, the total number of students who appeared for the exams were 7,61,563 and out of it 6,80,057 were the total number of pupils who cleared it. The pass percentage of the male students was at 90.44 per cent whereas the pass percentage of female student was a little less i.e 90 percent.

 

Mark sheets for West Bengal HS Class 12 Boards Result 2021

The mark sheets for all the students who appeared for class 12 board exams in West Bengal will be available from 23rd July 2021 onwards. The heads of the various institutions can collect the respective mark sheets from the distribution camps starting at 11:00 am. The mark sheets will be distributed to 52 centers and 4 regional offices.

Around 8.5 lakh students were registered for the Board exams. The overall pass percentage for Class 12 board exams for 2021 is 97.69%. This year the pass percentage was more when compared to the previous year. In the year 2020, the pass percentage for class 12 was 90.13%

A total of 9013 students secured more than 90%. Almost 80% of students have secured above 80%.

The Commerce stream has secured the highest percentage in the Class 12 Board Exams of west Bengal 2021 followed by the Arts and then Science.

Evaluation Criteria for West Bengal HS Class 12 Board Result 2021

The students have been evaluated based on the following criteria.

50% of the total weightage was taken from Class 10 board exam results (Three best subjects). 20% was taken from Class 11 final exam scores and the remaining 30% was based on the calss1 2 internal, practical, and projects.

The above criteria were suggested by the board of committee members appointed by the higher education council. This seemed to be a fair and just way of distributing the marks to all the students.
