After the conduct of the final exam, UPMSP conducts the compartment/supplementary exam for those students who have not successfully passed the exam in one go. UPMSP 10th Exam 2025: Passing Criteria

To pass the UP Board Class 10 Exam in 2025, students must score at least 33% (33/100) on each subject, including theory and practical/internal exams. They should achieve 33% overall, which is calculated as 196 marks out of 600.  Students who fail one or two subjects might take compartment examinations in July 2025. Those who fail in more than two subjects must retake the entire exam in 2026.
