Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2021 Dates Check on official website www.mcc.nic.in: Maharashtra’s State CET Cell has created the NEET 2021 Counselling Website for the Maharashtra State Counselling Process, which will streamline and simplify the Centralized Counseling Process online for admission to undergraduate medical degrees based on the NEET 2021 Exam. The Maharashtra NEET counselling schedule, information bulletin, and notification have yet to be announced, although they are likely to be posted soon. Candidates from Maharashtra who have qualified for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 will be able to register for the State Quota Counseling. The State Quota Counseling is responsible for 85 per cent of the state’s seat share.

Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2021: Counselling Fees for NEET MBBS

Students who want to participate in the state counselling procedure must be Maharashtra residents and attend a Maharashtra school. The fee for state quota applicants is Rs 1000, for institutional quota candidates it is Rs 5000, and for state plus institutional quota candidates it is Rs 6000.
As many as 85% of the total medical seats available in India are allocated through state-based counselling. The Medical Council Committee allocates only 15% of seats centrally (MCC).

This year, the Central Board of Secondary Education is no longer the best performing board in the NEET medical entrance exam. For the previous few years, the majority of the students have been from CBSE. In a report analysing NEET, Tamil Nadu argued that the medical entrance exam is skewed in favour of the central board.
In contrast, state boards, particularly the Rajasthan Boards, account for 66.5 percent of students who passed the medical entrance exam this year. Only 39% of the top students in the medical entrance exam this year are from CBSE.
With 19.8% of students achieving 1 lakh ranks in NEET, the Rajasthan Board is in first place. Odisha follows the Rajasthan Board. With 14.5 percent, CBSE is in third place.
Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh have the most candidates in the 1-10,000 ranking among the states. In the 1-1,00,000 rank cohort, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal have more than 6,000 candidates.
However, despite having the largest number of applicants in the top 1 lakh ever, Tamil Nadu, along with the other 18 states, has seen a drop in the qualification rate.

Maharastra State  NEET UG Counselling 2021: Topper Tanmay Gupta awarded Rs 21 lakh

Tanmay Gupta, the top performer in the NEET-2021 exam in J&K, was awarded Rs 21 lakh. At a felicitation function in Gurugram, he was honoured.
Gupta is the first candidate from Jammu & Kashmir to be ranked number one in India (AIR 1).
Aakash Institute invited him and his family from Jammu to attend the huge award event. J C Choudhary, Chairman of Aakash Educational Services Limited, presented students from across the country who were among the top 100 rank holders in the NEET 2021 examination with cheques ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh apiece.
