NEET UG Counselling 2021 Date and Full Process

The first step in counselling is to register. A student must visit the official website of the counselling authority and get them registered. They will be allotted a username and password. They can change the password after logging in for the first time.

The application form needs to be filled and submitted online. The fee paid for the registration form varies from student to student. It depends upon the category to which a student belongs, i.e., reserved or unreserved category.

In the application form, the student needs to fill his or her All India Rank in NEET 2021 and category-wise rank. Also, they are required to fill the choice of medical colleges in which they wish to take admission. Note that the choice of colleges is allotted by the allotting agency according to the hierarchy in which it is filled.

Documents then are verified and if the rank of a student ranges in between the opening and closing ranks of the colleges mentioned, then he or she is allotted the medical seat. If not, the students need s to participate again in the following counselling rounds.

The students, to whom a seat has now been allotted, are required to report to the colleges according to the date and time are given. Further admission formalities will be completed on-campus and semester starting dates will be given out by the college. Thereafter, the student needs to visit the college website for any further details regarding the institute. Hence, with this, the counselling process finally comes to an end for NEET 2021.

  • Admit Card of NEET 2021
  • NEET Result Hardcopy
  • Mark sheet and passing certificate of class 10
  • Mark sheet and passing certificate of class 12
  • Government-approved photo ID, most commonly Aadhar card.
  • 6 to eight passport sized photographs.
  • A copy of the Caste certificate for reserved category students.
  • Disability certificate, if applicable.
