After the result announcement, the process of the NEET UG Counselling 2025 is likely to start by the last week of June or the first week of july 2025. The whole NEET 2025 Counseeling is divided into two phases; for the under 15% AIQ quota, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will conduct admission to MBBS and BDS courses on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), whereas other counselling for the remaining 85% State quota seats is controlled by the relevant authorities.

MCC NEET UG 2025 Counselling Schedule

Usually, the counseling process for the NEET starts within one month of the NEET Result announcement. The MCC NEET Counselling is kicked off by comermentment of the registration process at mcc.nic.in. which is likely to start by the last week of July. MCC will soon release the complete schedule of the NEET 2025 Counseling dates round-wise via an official notification in due course of time. Till then, aspirants can check the tentative counseling dates based on last year’s trends.

Navigating the Rounds of NEET UG Counselling 2025

In order to fill out all medical seats, including those at AIIMS and Deemed Universities, the NEET 2025 counselling process initially consists of four (main 3) rounds. Each round will confirm the number of vacant seats, and candidates will be assigned seats according to their availability, preferences, and NEET rank. NEET 2025 counselling is offered in four rounds, which are as follows:
