NEET 2021 Toppers List Out Now, Check Names, AIR, and Marks

NEET 2021 Toppers List Out Now, Check Names, AIR, and Marks: The National Testing Agency, or NTA, released the results of the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test 2021 on November 1. Mrinal Kutteri, Tanmay Gupta, and Karthika G Nair are three individuals who have received an all-India rating (AIR) of 1. They received a score of 720/720. The results are available at neet.nta.nic.in for all other contestants.
The medical entrance test attracted a total of 15.44 lakh students in 2021. Around 8.70 lakh people have qualified. In addition to the qualified, eight transgender candidates passed the exam.
Three students have shared AIR 1, 12 candidates have shared AIR 5, and 21 candidates have attained AIR 21.
Female candidates continue to outperform male candidates in terms of passing the exam, as they have in prior years. This year, a total of 4,94,806 females passed the exam, while 3,75,260 male candidates were successful.
This year’s qualifying score range is lower than it was in 2020. The qualifying marks range or cut-off for general and EWS was set at 720-138, down from 720-147 in 2020, while the cut-off for OBC, SC, and ST was reduced to 137-108 from 146-113 in 2020.
Likewise, for general/EWS PwD applicants, the qualifying marks range is 137-122, compared to 146-129 in 2020. The qualifying marks for OBC PwD, SC PwD, and ST PwD applicants this year are 121-108.
Candidates who scored higher than the cut-off are eligible to compete for 15% of the seats available under the all-India quota (AIQ). The AIQ seats will be filled based on the NEET 2021 rank and the MCI/NMC/DCI statutory regulations. Individual counselling will be conducted by the states for admission to the remaining 85% of seats.

NTA releases Fresh NEET 2021 Toppers’ List

According to a statement by National Testing Agency, It has now has issued a notification of fresh all India rank allotted to all candidates who have qualified for the NEET-UG 2021 exam. National Testing Agency has issued this fresh notification stating that it is for counselling purposes. The candidates now have to download their fresh scorecards. All can do so from the official website for NEET. The official website is neet.nta.nic.in.
Until this year, the NTA used age as a tie-breaking criterion in the medical admission exam, giving older candidates a head start in the ranking list. This year, however, the agency removed the tie-breaking rule, resulting in many candidates receiving the same rank by getting the same number of points on the exam.
Three students – Mrinal Kutteri, Tanmay Gupta, and Karthika G Nair – shared first place. Similarly, the fifth position was shared by five individuals.

NEET 2021 Topper: Message to Next Year Aspirants

Tanmay Gupta, one of the top NEET scorers, revealed in an interview that, aside from students’ hard effort and consistency, sticking to the NCERT texts is a key to success. Tanmay, who enjoys swimming, is someone who also enjoys watching TV serials and reading novels. In his message to the other pupils, he encouraged them to try their best regardless of the outcome.
Tanmay has even received a message from the official Twitter handle of the Office of LG J&K, where he says, “Congratulations to Tanmay Gupta from Jammu who created the history in NEET 2021 with hard work& determination.The national topper with 720 marks,Tanmay is pride of J&K. It is a great achievement&whole J&K is proud of you.Also,my best wishes to all successful students from J&K.”

NEET Topper 2021: The Cut-offs

This year’s NEET cutoff marks are 720-138 in the General category, 137-108 in the SC/ ST/ OBC category, 137-122 in the General-PwD category, and 121-108 in the SC/ ST/ OBC-PwD category.
The NEET 2021 cut-off has been lowered compared to last year. The cut-off for general category candidates in 2020 was 720-147 points, while the cut-off for SC/ST/OBC category candidates was 146-113 points. The minimum qualifying scores for general PwD and SC/ ST/ OBC-PwD candidates were 146-129 and 128-113, respectively.
The NEET 2021 cutoff is listed on the scorecard. There is also information about the number of candidates in each category. According to the exam’s general rules, the cutoff for the general category is 50th percentile, while the cutoff for SC/ST/OBC is 40th percentile.

It is 45th percentile for general PwD applicants and 40th percentile for SC/ ST/ OBC-PwD candidates. The marks on the scorecard that correspond to these preset cut-off percentiles are the cut-off marks.
Candidates can use the methods below to check and obtain the NEET 2021 cut-off in the scorecard.
Candidates who scored up to or over the cutoff point were included in the NEET 2021 all-India merit list. Candidates will now be contacted for 15% all-India quota counselling based on their merit.

NEET Result 2021 Topper Cut-offs: How to check

Below mentioned are the steps to check NEET 2021 Cut-offs:

  • Step 1: Go to neet.nta.nic.in, which is the official website.
  • Step 2: Locate and click on the link for the result.
  • Step 3: Log in using your roll number and date of birth.
  • Step 4: From the dashboard, download the NEET 2021 scorecard.
  • Step 5: Look for “Cut – Off Percentile and Score As Per MCI / DCI Regulation” on the scorecard.

NEET 2021 topper: Counselling

NEET 2021 scores will be used to determine admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc, and AH programmes. In the online form, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) would conduct centralised counselling for admission to MBBS/BDS programmes. The timetable for counselling will be announced soon. Candidates must register for NEET counselling within the specified timeframes.

The Medical Counselling Committee allocates all seats at deemed universities/central universities/seats at Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), AFMC, AIIMS, and JIPMER (MCC). It is for admission to 15% of seats in all government medical and dental colleges, all deemed universities/central universities/ESIC seats, AFMC, AIIMS, and JIPMER. Candidates who have passed the NEET exam can apply for admission through an all-India counselling process.
Counselling is conducted by the state counselling authority for 85 per cent of seats in government colleges and all seats in private colleges.
Candidates must meet the qualifying standards established by the state authorities in order to be admitted to the state quota seats.
MCC offers three rounds of online counselling. There will be two rounds of NEET counselling in 2021. For deemed/central universities, ESIC, AFMC, AIIMS, and JIPMER MBBS admissions, a mop-up round is held, while for deemed/central universities, ESIC, AFMC, AIIMS, and JIPMER MBBS admissions, a mop-up round is held. The state counselling authorities will also provide the counselling information on their websites.
