NEET 2026 Registration Form OUT

NEET 2026 Aadhaar eKYC
For NEET UG 2026, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has made Aadhaar‑based eKYC verification and live photo capture mandatory during the online registration process to enhance security and prevent impersonation; candidates must enter their 12‑digit Aadhaar number, verify it via an OTP to the Aadhaar‑linked mobile, and have their live photo matched with the Aadhaar database before continuing the application. While Aadhaar eKYC is required for identity authentication in the standard NEET UG 2026 application, aspirants whose Aadhaar details don’t match (for example, old photo or DOB mismatch) they can use any other government IDs such as Passport, Driving License, Voter ID card or PAN card to register for NEET 2026 exam

What to Do If NEET 2026 Payment Fails During Registration?
In case the NEET 2026 payment fails during the registration process, applicants should not make another payment immediately. As per the NTA advisory, MBBS aspirants must wait for some time and then re-login using their application number and password to check the payment status. If the status still shows “Not Confirmed”, candidates should click on the “Go for Free” link available on the same page to verify the transaction. If the payment is still not confirmed after verification, only then should candidates proceed to pay the NEET 2026 application fee again.
NEET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the NEET 2026 eligibility criteria set by NTA, including age limit, educational qualification, and nationality requirements.
NEET Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects from a recognized board.
Minimum Marks Required for NEET 2026
General category candidates must secure at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for PwD candidates), while OBC/SC/ST candidates require a minimum of 40% aggregate marks (40% for PwD candidates).
Note– Marks obtained in Mathematics are not considered while determining eligibility for NEET 2026.
NEET 2026 Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 17 years old at the time of admission, and there is no upper age limit for NEET 2026.
Number of Attempts Allowed in NEET
There is no restriction on the number of attempts, allowing candidates to appear for NEET multiple times.

Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and foreign nationals are eligible to apply for NEET 2026, subject to admission guidelines.

NEET 2026 Exam Date
The NEET 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on 3 May 2026 by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam will be conducted in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (IST). NEET 2026 will consist of 200 questions, out of which candidates need to attempt 180 questions, carrying a total of 720 marks. The NTA NEET exam will be held in offline (pen-and-paper) mode for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other medical courses across India.

NEET UG Question Paper Medium 2026
