NEET 2026 Application Form Out Soon: Date, Fees & Registration Process

The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET 2026) registration is expected to start from 7 February, 2026. NTA will soon activate the application form link which can be accessed by the eligible candidates to apply for the NEET entrance examination. The Entire NEET Form Filling process is online. This year it is expected that NTA will introduce live photo capture in NEET 2026. Candidates must complete the registration process by visiting NTA Official website neet.nta.in and paying the application fees before the last date to avoid last minute issues which may lead to rejection of application form.

NEET Application Fees 2026

The NEET 2026 application fee varies according to the candidate’s category and must be paid online using a debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking. Candidates are advised to check the detailed fee structure in the table given below before completing the payment.

NEET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the NEET 2026 eligibility criteria set by NTA, including age limit, educational qualification, and nationality requirements.

NEET Educational Qualifications

Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects from a recognized board.

Minimum Marks Required for NEET 2026

General category candidates must secure at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for PwD candidates), while OBC/SC/ST candidates require a minimum of 40% aggregate marks (40% for PwD candidates).

Note– Marks obtained in Mathematics are not considered while determining eligibility for NEET 2026.

NEET 2026 Age Limit

Candidates must be at least 17 years old at the time of admission, and there is no upper age limit for NEET 2026.

Number of Attempts Allowed in NEET

There is no restriction on the number of attempts, allowing candidates to appear for NEET multiple times.

Nationality Criteria for NEET 2026

Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and foreign nationals are eligible to apply for NEET 2026, subject to admission guidelines.

Validity of NEET 2026 Score

The NEET 2026 score is valid for one academic session only.
