NEET PG 2025, also known as the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Postgraduate, is a national-level exam for medical graduates seeking to pursue postgraduate courses in India, including MD and MS programs. It connects over 6,000 institutions, offering over 26,000 MD and 13,000 MS seats. This year’s NEET PG 2025 admissions process has had various obstacles, including delays, postponements, and legal procedures. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) already revoked the results of 22 candidates for using unfair tactics, while 13 were disqualified for malfeasance during the exam.

Adding to the controversy, a data breach containing the personal information of approximately 1.38 lakh applicants was disclosed, causing great alarm among the medical community. Following the Supreme Court’s intervention, the NEET PG 2025 exam was eventually administered in a single shift on August 3, and the results for the same were announced on September 3rd.
