KCET 2021 Result: Important Dates

The Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) exam drew 70,888 boys and 85022 girls this year, while the engineering entrance exam drew 90,601 men and 92630 women. The BSc (Agricultural) entrance test was taken by a total of 70,792 males and 84968 females.

A total of 2,01,834 people applied for this year’s KCET-2021, which took held on August 28 and 29. There were 1,62,439 candidates for biology (80.48 percent) and 1,89,522 candidates for mathematics (93.90 percent).

According to KEA, 1,93,588 students (95.91 percent) and 1,93,522 students (95.88 percent) attended physics and chemistry exams, respectively.

KCET 2021 was placed at 86 Bengaluru sites and 444 places outside of Bengaluru. There were 1682 applications for the Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga applicants and was held in six cities, namely, Bidar, Belagavi, Vijaypura, Ballari, Mangalore, and Bangalore.

KCET Result 2021: Reservations

Candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes in categories 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B must provide a “Caste Certificate / Caste Income Certificate” issued by the relevant Jurisdictional Tahasildar.

Rural applicants who have studied for ten complete academic years from Class 1 to Class 10 at educational institutions located in places in the State of Karnataka other than bigger urban areas, smaller urban areas, or transitional areas would be eligible for 15% of the Government seats.

Kannada medium applicants who have completed ten full academic years in Kannada medium from Class 1 to Class 10 would be eligible for 5% of the Government seats.

The sons and daughters of Jammu and Kashmiri migrants who meet the qualifying criteria and show all relevant documentation at the time of document verification will be given priority.

The Hyderabad-Karnataka region, which includes the districts of Bidar, Gulbarga, Yadgir, Raichur, Koppal, and Bellary, shall be considered the local area. 70% of available seats in any course of study at any regional university or educational institution located in the above-mentioned areas in the local area will be allocated for local residents.
