All the registered candidates took the JEE Advanced exam 2025 on 18 May 2025, Paper First was conducted across India from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and JEE Advanced Paper II from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. How many students qualified JEE Adv 2025?

As per the official figures, most applicants from the IIT Hyderabad zone have passed the JEE Advanced 2025 exam. 12,946 students have qualified from the IIT-H zone alone, followed by 11,370 from IIT Delhi and 11,226 from the IIT Bombay zone. A total of 5,445 qualified from the IIT Roorkee zone, 5,353 from the IIT Kharagpur zone, 5,295 from the IIT, and 2,743 from the IIT Guwahati zone.

JEE Advanced Rank List Announcement: Cutoff

IIT Kanpur will disclose the JEE Advanced 2025 cutoff marks/ the minimal marks required to pass the exam, along with the JEE Advanced results, on the same day.

Expected Cutoff

Experts anticipate that the JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 will drop this year due to the increased complexity of the exam compared to last year. This year’s JEE Advanced cutoff is estimated to be between 90 to 95 marks out of 360.

Previous Year Cutoffs

  • Last year, to qualify for the JEE Advanced common rank list (CRL), candidates had to achieve 10 marks in each subject (Maths, Physics, and Chemistry) and 109 out of 360 marks in total.
  • In 2023, candidates for the common rank list (CRL) needed to score 8 marks in each topic (Maths, Physics, and Chemistry) and 86 out of 360 marks in total to pass the entrance exam.

JEE Advanced Counselling 2025

With the JEE Advanced 2025 counselling, the IIT JEE Advanced cutoff will be provided as opening and closing ranks following each round of the JoSAA counselling procedure. The counselling will begin on June 3rd.
