The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) conducted the final matric theory and practical exams in February – March 2024.  This year, over 4.2 lakh students took the JAC Class 10 Board Exams 2024. While girls achieved a commendable pass percentage of 91%, boys followed closely behind with a pass rate of 89.70%.

The highly anticipated announcement of the JAC Board Result 2024 Class 10 was announced at a press conference attended by officials from the Jharkhand Academic Council. Vice President Vinod Kumar Singh will make the announcement, joined by Secretary Jharkhand Ajit Parishad Sachchidanand Dwivedi Tigga, Joint Secretaries Arvind Kumar, and Satyabha Kumari.

As per the JAC 10th Result Toppers List 2024, Jyotsna Jyoti bags the first position with an outstanding performance of 99.2%, securing 496 out of 500 marks, followed by SANA SANJURI with 98.6% and 493 marks. Karishma Kumari and Sristi Somya are both jointly in the third position, each scoring 98.4% with 492 marks of 500.

JAC 10th Result 2024 Pass Percentage

The newly published JAC Jharkhand Board 10th Result shows a significant decline in the total pass rate of 90.39% from the previous year, which was 95.38%. Among the successful candidates, a stunning 2,05,110 students achieved first division, while 1,53,733 students achieved second division. Furthermore, 19,555 students were successful in the third division.

Although there is a substantial difference between genders in pass rates in the Jharkhand Board 10th Result, it demonstrates the outstanding performance of both boys and girls in the examination. In this year’s Jharkhand Board Matric examination was taken by a total of 4,21,678 students. The matric exam was passed by 1,77,849 males and 2,00,549 girls. Girls had an outstanding 91% pass rate, while boys came in second at 89.70%.

The board also released a district-wise pass rate of the class 10th JAC results which indicate, that E. Singhbhum is the best-performing district with a pass percentage of 94.075% whereas the least-performing district with a pass of Deoghar. Check out the complete list here,

JAC 10th Result 2024 via SMS

1. Launch the SMS Application on your mobile phone
2. Type your Roll Number and  Roll code in the following format:
   • Type JHA10<space>Roll Number and send it to 5676750.
   • Type RESULT<space>JAC10<space>RollCode and Send it to 56263
   • Type RollNumber<space>REGISTRATION NUMBER and Send it to 56263
3. Within few minutes, the JAC Board 10th Result 2024 will be received on the same mobile number.

Jharkhand Board 10th Result 2024 Grading System

The board uses a unique grading system to determine the performance in the matric exams. Students will get an A+ if they secure above 80% exams. If they secure 60% to 80% marks they will get an A grade. Students have to score above 33% to pass the 10th class final exam.

Jharkhand Board 10th Result 2024 Scrutiny

If any students are not satisfied with their results, in this case, the board alllow students to raise requests for scrutiny or revalution. In the process, students are required to submit an application form to the school along with the requisition fee. Then the board officials instructed to recheck the entire answer sheet once again.

After this process, If the marks of the students are increased, then a mark sheet will be issued and the old one will be taken back. The details of the scrutiny or revaluation will be announced shortly after the announcement of the jac.jharkhand.gov.in Result 2024.

JAC Board Result 2024 Class 10: Grace Marks Criteria

• Candidates who fail a subject by 5% or less may receive 5% of their overall marks returned.
• Students who fail two topics by 3% or less may earn 3% in each subject.
• If a student does not use the grace marks provided in points 1 and 2 and falls short of five or fewer marks to achieve a higher division. In this case, the student is given the grace marks required to advance to a higher division.
