The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, GSEB or GSHSEB, held the GSEB 12th class board exam from March 11 to March 26, 2024 in offline mode for all streams. The examination phase was critical for students who took the board exam. The board has now declared the highly awaited result for this examination.

The Gujarat Board announced the GSEB HSC result 2024 on May 9 at 9 AM and activated the HSC mark sheet download link on the official website gseb.org. The pass percentage for both the general and science streams saw a drastic increase this year. This year, boys outperformed girls in the science stream. The Gujarat Board announced the scores of more than 4.7 lakh students who participated in the board exam this year. Of all the participated candidates, more than 1,11,000 students appeared in class 12 science stream and 3,50,000 students in general stream..

Board candidates can visit the official website mentioned above to check Gujarat Board HSC marks. Follow the step-wise procedure stated below to view and download your GSEB marksheet.

• Go to gseb.org, the official website of GSE
• Find the result tab on the home page and click on it
• In the result website, head to the News and Announcement section
• In that section, click on ‘result 2024’ link
• Provide the login details and press the Go button

• Download the online marksheet and keep it safe till you get the original one

The GSEB does not declare the arts and commerce results separately, rather the combined result is announced which is known as the general stream result. The general stream candidates belong to the arts and commerce streams. In the GSEB HSC general stream, 3,78,268 students appeared for the exam and 3,47,738 of them cleared the exam. The overall pass percentage for the General stream (arts and commerce) of Gujarat Class 12 has been recorded at 91.93 %, a huge jump from last year’s 73.27 %.

The class 12 pass percentage has seen a steep rise this year that had been falling since the COVID 19. Class 12 science stream’s overall pass percentage is recorded at 82.45 %, a huge increase from last year’s 65.58%. In the Science stream this year, boys have narrowly surpassed girls; girls got an overall pass percentage of 82.35 percent, while boys dominated the year with 83.53 percent. A total of 1,11,132 students appeared in the science stream, of which 91,625 cleared the exam.
