DU Mop Up Round Admission 2025: Last Chance to get UG Seats without CUET Score

The University of Delhi has started the DU Mop Up Admission 2025 for undergraduate (UG) admissions for the academic year 2025. This DU Mop-Up round aims to fill vacant UG seats after Mop-Up Round 1.

The mop-up round will take place in physical mode and will not require CUET scores; thus, the admission will be based purely on Class 12 or equivalent exam scores. To apply for on-the-spot allotment, candidates must meet qualifying criteria and register on the official admission portal at admission.uod.ac.in,

DU Mop Up Admission 2025

Candidates who are not currently admitted to any program under the Common Seat Allocation System Undergraduate (CSAS(UG)) 2025 can apply for the on-the-spot mop-up round. Those who have already been admitted to a college or program under CSAS (UG) 2025 are not eligible to participate. DU Mop Up Round Admission is held in physical mode, and this is the last chance for the students to get into the Delhi University Undergraduate programme.

Eligibility requirements for applicants

• Applicants must be either registered for CSAS (UG) 2025 without a guaranteed admission or be fresh to the program.
• Registered candidates can apply via the “mop-up” feature on their dashboard. To register, new candidates must submit an application form on the internet and pay a non-refundable cost of Rs 1,000.
• The university emphasised that supernumerary quotas are not applicable for this round, save for candidates in the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category.

Mop up round DU Registration Last Date

As per the released circular, Registration for the on-the-spot mop-up round has already begun at 5 p.m. on September 17, 2025, and the last date for registration is 11:59 p.m. on September 19, 2025. Eligible students for the DU Mop Up Round 2025 must register via the specified channels before the last date to get considered for admission.

DU Mop Up Round Allocation and Admission Process

Upon the closing of the DU Mop Up Round Registration, the UG Seat allocations and admissions (in physical mode) are tentative to begin from Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Take a look at the DU Mop Up Admission key facts below

1. Upon receiving the applications, the University of Delhi will
   Invite the candidates on the basis of merit and the availability of seats
2. The shortlisted candidates will receive an Invitation Letter through email for the date and time at which they have to report to the University.
3. Candidates must ensure that they report in person to the University on the date and time specified in the Invitation Letter
   issued by the University. No grievance related to failure to attend the Mop-up round will be entertained.
4. No representative on behalf of the candidate will be allowed
   under any circumstances.
5. Entry to the Multipurpose Hall will be allowed only on the basis of
   of the Invitation letter sent by the University.
6. For reporting time, date, and venue, refer to the Invitation Letter
7. Allocation once offered will be final. No upgrades and withdrawals will be entertained on the admissions made during the Mop-up Round/ s.
8. If a candidate fails to deposit the admission fee (online) immediately at the time of seat allotment for whatsoever reason, the seat allotted to him/her will immediately be cancelled and it will be offered to the next candidate on the basis of merit.
9. Non-reporting of a candidate as per the schedule and within
   The stipulated time, the claim for admission, and no request/representation will be entertained thereafter under any circumstances.
10. The candidature of a candidate will be cancelled immediately if
    any deficiency is found in the documents. No request/ representation will be entertained thereafter.
11. Appearance for on-the-spot Mop-Up should not be considered
    as a warranty of admission.
