CUET UG Result 2025 Releasing Today
The National Testing Agency (NTA) held the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025 from May 13 to June 4, with around 13.5 lakh candidates participating across the country. Now the NTA CUET 2025 Results are finally OUT. Following the release of the NTA’s CUET UG scorecard, participating universities, institutes, or organisations will compile a merit list. Universities may also perform individual counselling using the CUET UG 2025 scores. As the exam was conducted in multiple shifts over 24 days, candidates’ raw or real marks from multiple shifts and sessions will be translated to NTA scores, to make the process smoother. It must be noted that the NTA scorecard for CUET UG 2025 is only valid for admission to the academic year 2025–26.

According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), no grievances or objections will be considered until the CUET final answer key is issued. The final answer key will be deemed definitive, and CUET scores will be calculated entirely using this amended answer key.
State with Lowest Applicants in CUET UG Exam
As per the data from last year, Lakshadweep had the lowest number of applicants—just 16 students registered, and only 8 appeared. Daman and Diu were next, with 100 registrations and 79 examinees. Other regions with the lowest participation were:
- Goa: 376 registered; 241 appeared.
- Sikkim: 1,293 registered and 920 appeared.
- Dadra and Nagar Haveli: 250 registered; 195 appeared.
Which State had the HIGHEST Registration Last Year?
Last year, Uttar Pradesh had the highest number of CUET UG applicants. A total of 3,47,736 candidates registered from the state, and 2,96,858 eventually took the exam. Delhi came in second, with 1,56,412 registrations and 1,37,145 students sitting the test.
What happens following the CUET UG result OUT?
NTA does not have a centralized counselling system for CUET; thus, each participating college conducts the consulting process on its own. After the results are revealed, students must apply to particular universities and colleges via their application portals. Each university will publish its own cut-off list and merit-based counselling timetable based on CUET results.
