The National Testing Agency announced the CUET PG 2026 final answer key and results on April 24th. Candidates who took the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) can now access the CUET PG final answer key PDF at exams.nta.nic.in/CUET-PG/ for their course.

Performing well in the CUET PG 2026 is critical to gaining admission to top-tier postgraduate programs at government and participating universities in India. The word "good score" might vary based on the level of competition for the course, the prestige of the university, and the candidate's category.

According to past years' statistics and trends, the expected association between raw scores (out of 300) and percentile ranks is as follows: Raw marks range from 270 to 300, with expected percentiles of 99-100, 95-98, 90-94, 85-89, and 75-84.

Total score = (number of correct answers x 4) minus (number of incorrect answers x 1)
Example Calculation:
There are 40 correct answers and 15 incorrect answers.
Total score: (40 x 4) - (15 x 1) = 160-15 = 145.

The National Testing Agency will not conduct CUET PG 2026 Counselling. The NTA will release the CUET PG results and scorecards to approved candidates. The participating universities will conduct the counselling online only, and candidates will be notified of the dates and other formalities by email.

Approximately 200 institutions and institutes will accept CUET PG 2026 marks. Each participating university will provide its own counselling. Each university's official website will provide the counselling dates.

The CUET PG results will be prepared and distributed based on the Final Answer Keys.

No complaints about the Answer Keys will be accepted after the CUET PG 2026 results have been announced. There will be no re-evaluation or rechecking of the results.

The normalization technique ensures impartiality when comparing candidate scores across sessions and exams. It accounts for differences in difficulty levels, thus percentiles are a more realistic depiction of your performance.

The CUET PG percentile score of a candidate is computed as follows:

100 X candidates in the "Session" with raw scores equal to or lower than the candidate's / The total number of candidates who appeared in the "Session."

Marks are calculated using the marking methodology listed below.

i) Each question carries four (four) marks.
ii) For each accurate response, the candidate will receive 04 (four) points.
iii) For each wrong response, one mark will be deducted from the total score.
iv) No marks will be given for unanswered or unattempted responses.
v) To answer a question, the candidate must select one choice as the correct answer.

vi) However, following the procedure of challenging the answer key, if there are several correct answers or a change in key, only those candidates who attempted it successfully according to the revised final answer key will be awarded marks.
vii) If a question is withdrawn owing to a technological problem, all candidates will receive full marks, regardless of whether they attempted it or not.
