Correct CUET 2022 Application Till 31st May
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to open the correction window for the CUET UG 2022 Applications. The option for correcting the applications will be available up to 9 PM IST on 31st May 2022. Read the full article to know more details about which particulars can be changed and which cannot be. Candidates should keep in mind that this is a one-time opportunity available to them and no further correction window shall be made available. Candidates should be careful while filling the CUET UG 2022 Application form at the time of the correction window because once the information and particulars are entered they cannot be changed so Candidates are advised to through the application form in detail before submitting it.
NTA Released Notice For CUET 2022 Application Correction Window
The official notice on the CUET website read as follows,” In view of the representations received from the candidates regarding giving them an opportunity to edit/modify their particulars in the Online Application Form of CUET UG 2022, National Testing Agency has decided to provide the opportunity to the candidates for modifying their particulars in the Online Application Form of CUET (UG) – 2022.”
CUET 2022 Correction Window: Candidates Have to Pay Addition Fees
Candidates also have to pay the additional fees, wherever required and upon payment of the required fees, if any, the application will be updated. The candidates can pay the additional fees, if required, through Credit Card/Debit Card, Net-Banking, UPI, and Paytm. Before making the payment candidates are advised to check the particulars carefully to see if everything is correct and then proceed to pay the requisite fees to confirm the changes. The notice has made it clear that no more chances will be available. The Admit Card will be released soon after the completion of the correction window.
CUET 2022 Correction Window: What Changes Can Candidates Make?
The candidates can make changes only in respect of the following fields:
- Candidates are allowed to change only ONE field from:
(i) Candidate name or
(ii) Father name or
(iii) Mother name or
(iv) Photograph-uploaded or
(v) Signature-uploaded, i.e any of these fields.
2. Candidates can change all of these fields:
i. Class X or Equivalent Details
ii. Class XII or Equivalent Details
- Candidates will be allowed to change all these preferences and mediums:
i.Exam Centre City Selection (all 4 preferences)
ii. Medium
- Candidate shall be allowed to change all the fields:
i. Date of Birth
ii. Gender
iii.Category
iv. PwBD
- The option to change subject/test along with University/Programme will be available to change during the whole duration of the correction window, which means that students have the option to change the subject/test along with the university/program.
CUET 2022 Correction Window: Details Which Can not Be Changed
In case there is any change in the fees, then the candidate will have to pay the additional fees, the change in details and particulars shall be updated only after the additional fees have been paid in such cases. The Candidates are not allowed to change certain particulars such as:
- Email-Id
- Mobile Number
- Address (Both Permanent and Correspondence)

The Common University Entrance Test(CUET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency, for providing admission into various UG courses offered by renowned institutions. The CUET 2022 became the second biggest entrance exam with over 9 lakh registrations. A total of 87 Universities participated in the CUET 2022 along with their affiliated colleges. Female Candidates comprised 44.2% of the total candidates and going by category approximately 47% of the total candidates are from the unreserved category.
All You Need To Know About CUET UG 2022 Application Correction Window
CUET-UG offers the option to the candidates to appear in as many as nine subjects. Delhi University has the most applications with a total of over 6 Lakh applications, followed by Banaras Delhi University which received 3.9 lakh applications, and then the University of Allahabad with 2.3 Lakh applications. Categorically the unreserved category applied for most of the applications, followed by the OBC Category with 31.6% of the total applicants, followed by the SC Category with 10.3% of the total applicants. 4.6% of the total applicants belonged to the Economically Weaker Category.
CUET 2022 Correction Window Facts
Going State-wise the three big states in terms of application are Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Bihar. A large number of applications are received from States with fewer populations comparatively. On the fact that even a large number of applications are also received from smaller states with lesser populations, Chairman of University Grants Commission, Mr M Jagadesh Kumar was quoted saying,’ It is a good indication that students from remote areas are seeing this as an opportunity, which is a positive development. They don’t have to be dependent anymore on Board Exam Marks and since the CUET syllabus is of Class 12 standard aspirants will be at home while appearing for the test. I see CUET becoming more popular in the coming years as more and more universities including state and private universities, come on board and also because it will be conducted twice a year”.
