CBSE class 10 term 1 exams: syllabus, and date-sheet

CBSE has released the class 10 syllabus for term 1 examinations. The exams will be starting from 29th November. Students will have to appear for two separate term wise exams. The separate term wise exam results will later be combined to form the final board exam result.

CBSE Term 1 Board Exam: Online or offline?

As of now, the term 1 exams will be held offline. If the pandemic situation worsens in the next one to two weeks, then the board might decide to either postpone the exams or conduct them online. The students are requesting the authorities to conduct the exams online, but it all depends upon the current situation of the country.

Until 2020 the boards were conducted once a year. In 2021, the majority of the state boards had to cancel their board exams and give marks to the students based on common criteria.  This is the reason, why the government has decided to conduct board exams in two terms.
