CBSE has released an official notification regarding the dates of the CBSE practical Date sheet 2023 for classes 10 and 12.  CBSE Practical Date sheet 2023 for CBSE Classes 10, and 12 will begin on January 2, 2023.

As per the released CBSE Practical Date sheet 2023, The CBSE class 10, and 12 practical exams will be held between January 2 and February 14, 2023, according to the schedule made public. The board announced in an official notice that as of January 2, 2023, schools must begin uploading marks or internal grades for CBSE practical exams, projects, and internal assessments. Only February 14 will be the final day for students to upload their marks.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) published guidelines regarding the CBSE Practical Exam 2023 for classes 10 and 12 that will begin on January 2, 2023. Students can view the notification at the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.

According to the announcement, schools are required to make sure that the practical examination syllabus is completed and that all necessary preparations, such as stocking laboratories and identifying internal examiners, are made on time. The class 12 practical exam will be administered by outside examiners who the board has designated.

As per the officials – “The schools should ensure that all parents and students are informed about the date sheet, the list of candidates shall be checked thoroughly and cross-checked with from the online system. Sufficient number of practical answer books have been received by the school before the actual date of examination. In case there is any issue, the schools must contact the regional office.”

CBSE Board  Class 10, 12 Practical Exam  Guidelines for absent Students

According to the notice made public by the board, if a student is absent from the practical exam for the session 2022–2023 due to any reason, they will be marked as absent in the online system and if their practical exam is scheduled to be held at a different time, they will be marked as rescheduled rather than absent.

Only those students whose practical exams are marked as Re-scheduled during the times listed above will be permitted to retake them at school.

CBSE served an official Notification regarding the CBSE Practical Exam Date 2023.As the Notificatification reads,”As per provisions, the practical examinations, project or internal assessment for the session 2022-23 are scheduled from January 2, 2023, for all affiliated schools in India and abroad.

However, the schools situated in the winter-bound areas are expected to remain closed during the month of January due to the winter season. Accordingly, the exams for both Classes 10 and 12 for winter-bound schools are to be conducted from November 15, 2022, to December 14, 2022,”

It also adds.  “The uploading of marks shall be completed by last date of respective class. No extension of the dates shall be considered by the Board,”

CBSE Practical Exam 2023 for class 12 will be held from January 2, 2023. For winter-bound schools, CBSE Practical Exam 2022 class 12 will conduct in between November 15 and December 14. However, the Board has also advised all of the schools that are winter-bound that beginning on the day that the practical examinations started, all of the marks for all of the projects, practical exams, and internal assessments must be posted simultaneously.

Beginning on January 2  for all affiliated schools in India and overseas, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the practical exams for classes 10 and 12, as well as project work and internal assessments for the 2022–23 academic year.

CBSE Practical Exam 2023: SOPs

1. The practical exams, projects, and internal assessments for the CBSE 10th and 12th grades will be carried out in accordance with the instructions provided by the board officials on the academic website.  according to the released guidelines.
2. If there are more than 20 students, the tests must be held in two or three sessions during the day.
3. Each student will have two sessions to complete the fine arts exam or assessment.
4. As of the date the practical tests began, the grades for those exams will be simultaneously uploaded. The board will not grant a date extension for the uploading of the marks after the last day of the relevant exam.
5. Schools, internal examiners, and external examiners must make sure that the proper marks are uploaded while posting the marks since after the marks have been uploaded, corrections to the marks cannot be made.
6. When submitting the grades, schools and examiners must keep in mind that the maximum marks allowed for the practical, project, and internal assessments are in accordance with CBSE requirements.
7. Students who are found chatting or doing any unethical activity, will be considered to have behaved unfairly. Examiners must submit the same information to the board, together with all relevant documents, facts, and witnesses.
