CBSE Postpones Exams for Class 10 in Middle East: The Class 10 board examinations in numerous Middle Eastern countries have been cancelled. The Class 12 CBSE examination has been postponed until March 7, 2026. The official Board circular cancels all Class 10 tests scheduled between March 7 and March 11, 2026, in the Middle East areas. The exam conducting board cancelled previously scheduled papers on March 2, 3, 5, and 6, 2026. The decision was notified via an official notice released on March 6, 2026.

CBSE Postpones Exams for Class 10 in Middle East 2026

The “CBSE Postpones Exams for Class 10 in the Middle East Notice” was addressed to principals of CBSE-affiliated schools in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. CBSE stated that the method of declaring results for Class 10 students in the Middle East will be announced separately. Students and schools will receive additional instructions later.

Class 12 exam on March 7 postponed. The board has postponed the Class 12 examination, which was planned for Saturday, March 7, 2026. CBSE stated that updated dates will be issued later, based on the situation in the region. The board will convey subsequent choices regarding examinations starting March 9, 2026, after analyzing conditions.

CBSE Board Exams 2026: Latest News about Class 10 and 12

In continuation of Circulars dated 01.03.2026 and 03.03.2026, and following a careful examination of the current situation in sections of the Middle East (Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE), the Board has made the following decisions.

1. CBSE Class X Exam Updates

a) All examinations scheduled from March 7, 2026 to March 11, 2026 are cancelled.
b) Examinations scheduled for 02.03.2026, 05.03.2026, and 06.03.2026, which were already postponed, will also be cancelled.
c) The mode of declaring results for Class X candidates in the Middle East will be announced separately in due time.

2. CBSE Class XII Exam Updates

a) The examination scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026 has been postponed. The revised dates will be revealed later.
b) On Saturday, March 7, 2026, the Board will examine the situation and offer appropriate directives for examinations scheduled beginning Monday, March 9, 2026.
c) All Class XII students should maintain regular contact with their schools and closely monitor official notifications.

CBSE has asked all Class 12 students and associated schools in the Middle East to remain in contact with their schools and periodically check official announcements for updates on the new examination schedule.
