Students couldn’t appear for the Board Exams this year due to the covid-19 pandemic. The results were declared in July and were based on set criteria. This criterion was decided by the committee members set up by the Board.

Eligibility criteria to Appear for the Offline CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exam Date Sheet 2021
The students who aren’t satisfied with their Board Exam Marks calculated according to the evaluation criteria can appear for the offline exam. Marks scored in the offline exams will be final and no change will be made to it after the results are declared.
Even though the marks were evaluated on the same criteria for regular students, the private candidates were left out. The board stated that internal marks of the students were no longer available with the Board and hence they are compelled to appear for the Board Exams.
Compartment Students can appear in the offline Board Exams too. Only one subject compartmental students are allowed.

There is nothing to worry about even if the Board exams are conducted offline amid the pandemic. The government, as well as Board authorities, have ensured that proper covid-19 protocols will be followed. The safety of the students, teachers, and staff members will remain the priority. Exam Centres too have been increased.
Each exam center is installed with sanitizers. It is compulsory for all the invigilators, teachers, students, staff to wear a mask. Students without a mask will not be allowed to enter the examination premises.

Things to carry for the CBSE Compartmental Board Exams
Students are requested to carry the following things to the examination hall. If a student is having fever, cough, and cold, it is advised to inform the concerned authorities and take proper measures of containing it.

It is speculated that the CBSE will be releasing the date sheet today. Once declared, the dates for conducting the Board Exams will be official.
Do I need to register again for the CBSE Board Exams in 2021?
Yes, students need to register separately to appear for the CBSE Board exams (Improvement/Compartment) in 2021.
Can I appear for the Board Exams even though I am satisfied with my results?
It is advised not to appear for the Board Exams if you are satisfied with your results. The marks scored in the offline exam will be final and there won’t be any further changes made. So even if you score low in the offline exams, you will have to wait for another year to improve the marks.
