CBSE Board Class 10, 12 Term 2 Practicals would be conducted from March 2, 2022, as stated by the CBSE Board in an Official notice released on cbse.gov.in. Students of classes 10th and 12th can check the notice below. Also the CBSE Term 2 Datesheet 2022 is now being awaited more than ever as the CBSE Term 2 Practicals would be just conducted within 10 days from March 2, 2022.

Class 12 Term 2 Practical Dates
Central Board of Secondary Education has recently announced the exam date of the CBSE Term 2 Exam 2022. The Central Board of Secondary Education is all set to conduct CBSE Term 2 Exam 2022 from 26th April 2022. The Board has not announced the CBSE Term 2 Date Sheet 2022 yet. Central Board of Secondary Education will tentatively conduct the CBSE Term 2 Practical Exam 2022 in 2 March, 2022. To aid in the preparation of Students studying in CBSE class 12th, we have come up with this article. In this article, we have given the evaluation scheme of practical and list of all the practicals of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science of CBSE Class 12th. CBSE Term 2 Physics Practicals
CBSE Term 2 Practical Exam Dates are in March 2022.
Marking Scheme: CBSE Term 2 Practical examination will be organized by respective schools of students through the guidelines of CBSE and viva of students will be taken by external and internal observes. The students will be given 1 hr and 30 min to perform the practical exam and CBSE Term 2 Practical holds 15 marks. Check out the marking scheme given below in the table:

Experiments assigned for Term-II
- To find the focal length of a convex lens by plotting graphs between u and v or between 1/u and1/v.
- To find the focal length of a convex mirror, using a convex lens.
OR
To find the focal length of a concave lens, using a convex lens.
- To determine angle of minimum deviation for a given prism by plotting a graph between angle of incidence and angle of deviation.
- To determine refractive index of a glass slab using a travelling microscope.
- To find refractive index of a liquid by using convex lens and plane mirror.
- To draw the I-V characteristic curve for a p-n junction diode in forward bias and reverse bias
Activities assigned for Term-II
- To identify a diode, an LED, a resistor and a capacitor from a mixed collection of such items.
- Use of multimeter to see the unidirectional flow of current in case of a diode and an LED and check whether a given electronic component (e.g., diode) is in working order.
- To study effect of intensity of light (by varying distance of the source) on an LDR.
- To observe refraction and lateral deviation of a beam of light incident obliquely on a glass slab.
- To observe polarization of light using two Polaroids.
- To observe diffraction of light due to a thin slit.
- To study the nature and size of the image formed by a
(i) convex lens
(ii) concave mirror, on a screen by using a candle and a screen (for different distances of the candle from the lens/mirror).
8. To obtain a lens combination with the specified focal length by using two lenses from the given set of lenses.
Term 2 Practical Class 12 Biology

List of Experiments
- Prepare a temporary mount of onion root tip to study mitosis.
- Collect water from two different water bodies around you and study them for pH, clarity and presence of any living organism.
- Collect and study soil from at least two different sites and study them for texture, moisture content, pH and water holding capacity. Correlate with the kinds of plants found in them.
Study/observation of the following (Spotting)
- Common disease – causing organisms like Ascaris, Entamoeba, Plasmodium, any fungus causing ringworm through permanent slides, models or virtual images. Comment on symptoms of diseases that they cause.
- Two plants and two animals (models/virtual images) found in xeric conditions. Comment upon their morphological adaptations.
- Two plants and two animals (models/virtual images) found in aquatic conditions. Comment upon their morphological adaptations.

Class 12 Chemistry Term II Practicals List
1) Volumetric analysis
Determination of concentration/ molarity of KMnO4 solution by titrating it against a standard solution of:
- Oxalic acid
- Ferrous Ammonium Sulphate (Students will be required to prepare standard solutions by weighing themselves).
2)Salt analysis (Qualitative analysis)
Determination of one cation and one anion in a given salt.
Cations- Pb2+, Cu2+, As3+, Al3+, Fe3+, Mn2+, Ni2+, Zn2+, Co2+, Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+, Mg2+, NH4 +

- Tests for the functional groups present in organic compounds: Unsaturation, alcoholic, phenolic, aldehydic, ketonic, carboxylic and amino (Primary) groups.
