CBSE Date sheet Class 12 for First Term Board Examinations 2021-22: The CBSE will release term 1 board exam 2022 date sheet or timetable for Class 10 and Class 12 students shortly. The date sheet will be released at cbse.gov.in. CBSE will release the date sheet for the upcoming term 1 board exams on the 18th October 2021. For the year 2022, CBSE has decided that it will conduct the Board Exams in two semesters, the first one will be conducted around November to December and the second one will be conducted in March.
CBSE has 114 subjects in class 12 and 75 subjects in class 10 this year. The examinations for a total of 189 subjects are to be conducted by the board. If all subjects are examined, the examinations will take at least 40-45 days to complete. As a result, in order to prevent students from losing their learning, CBSE has chosen to separate subjects given by the board into two categories: major subjects and minor subjects: Because practically all connected schools provide major topics, exams for these subjects will be held using the same date sheet as before. The exam will be done in an objective-type format and will last 90 minutes. The term II test will consist of both short and lengthy response type questions and will last two hours, depending on the Covid-19 situation. Because of the winter season, the tests will begin at 11.30 a.m. instead of 10.30 a.m.
This will be the first time that the board exams will be conducted in a different pattern from the existing one. This decision was taken in 2021, as majority of the states had to cancel the board exam due to the covid pandemic. Conducting the exam in two phases will help to calculate the marks for board exam results, if by chance the pandemic surges and the country have to undergo another lockdown.
Both the terms will have equal weightage in the final exams if the covid situation subsides. The first term board exam will contain MCQ type questions with 50% of the syllabus. The decision of conducting the board exams in two terms was taken at the starting of the academic year 2021-2022. And so, the portions have already been divided accordingly by the board officials and the teachers.
