The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CBSE Class 12 Compartment Result 2025, August 01, 2025. The Class 12 supplemental exams for all subjects were held on July 15, 2025, in pen and paper format. As per the official figures, the overall pass percentage of the Class 12th compartment exam is 38.36%. This year, girls are outshining boys with a pass rate of 41.35% and 36.79% respectively. These exams gave students a second opportunity after failing to pass one or more courses in the main board exam earlier this year. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results of the Class 12 compartment exams on the official website, cbseresults.nic.in. CBSE held Class 12 supplementary exams in 26 countries throughout the world, in addition to India. This offers equal opportunity for Indian students studying in CBSE-affiliated schools around the world. The pass percentage for Children With Special Needs (CWSN) participants in the CBSE Class 12 supplementary test was 50.18%.

The Class 12 Supplementary results verification process will begin on August 6, 2025, and CBSE will soon issue a separate circular outlining the procedure. The CBSE has announced that regular students will receive mark sheets and passing certificates from their respective institutions.

Step 1: Visit the official CBSE result portal, results.cbse.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link for ‘CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Result 2025’ under the ‘2025 Results’ section.
Step 3: A login page will appear.
Step 4: Enter your roll number, school number, and admit card ID as they appear on your admit card, and then submit the details.
Step 5: The CBSE Class 12 Compartment results will be presented on the screen.
Step 6: Download, take a printout, and keep it safe until you receive the actual marksheet from your institution.

CBSE Result 2025 Class 12 compartment Exam Stats

Along with the class 12 Supplementary results, the board has released the exam statistics in a press release. As per the official figures, a total of 1,43,581 students registered for the Class 12 supplemental examinations, of which 1,38,666 took part. Out of these, 53,201 students passed the tests, with an overall pass rate of 38.36%. Girls have once again surpassed boys, with a pass rate of 41.35%, 4.56% higher than boys’ 36.79%. However, no transgender students passed this year’s additional exams.

Foreign school candidates performed significantly better, with 486 out of 918 students passing, for a pass rate of 52.94%. Similarly, 137 of 273 Children with Special Needs (CWSN) candidates passed, bringing their overall pass rate to 50.18%.
